  • Standard Accredited training is the first step to becoming an accredited EMDR therapist.

  • Yes, it is accredited by EMDR Europe

  • Only EMDR Europe Accredited Trainers are allowed to teach the 7-day standard Accredited EMDR course.

  • This training is online, on Zoom

    We have a facilitator for every 12 trainees.

    The training uses videos and interactive exercises throughout to help you really make sense of EMDR. 

  • This training covers everything you need to start using EMDR. It is a practical course which includes case supervision and real life EMDR practice on each other. It uses videos and interactive exercises throughout to help you really make sense of EMDR.

  • Our next 7 day training starts in Sep and is on these dates: Part 1: Sep 16-18, Part 2: Nov 12-13,  Part 3: Jan 28-29. The one after starts in Feb 2027 and is on these dates: Part 1: Feb 24-26, Part 2: Apr 22-23, Part 3: Jun 24-25

  • Starting in Sep 2026: £1480 incl. VAT. Starting in Feb 2027: £1520 incl. VAT

  • Yes, after you pay your deposit to reserve your place, you can pay the balance in 3 equal instalments, each due a month before that part of the training starts.

  • To be eligible you need to deliver 1-2-1 psychotherapy as a core part of your role and be fully accredited by an approved professional association.

  • The training is neurodiversity-informed and we understand that people learn differently. We will pace the training to avoid Zoom exhaustion and will vary the way that material is presented to make it easier to absorb. There will be a mixture of didactic teaching, group exercises and practice.

  • Yes, you will get a comprehensive electronic manual and copy of the slides.

  • During the training you will need access to at least 3 people to practice EMDR on. They can be friends, family or colleagues as well as your clients.

  • As part of the training, you will receive some case supervision from an EMDR consultant. This happens during the seven days and means that you are considered to have had 10 hours of supervision by the end of the standard training. During the training we recommend that you find an EMDR consultant or consultant-in-training in addition to the supervision incorporated into the training, but this is not essential.

  • After the Standard Training, in order to become an EMDR Europe accredited therapist, you need to "Practise EMDR under supervision. After enough supervision from an accredited EMDR Europe Consultant and further experience (at least 25 clients), you can apply to become an Accredited Practitioner."
