How is Naomi’s training structured?
Naomi’s training is delivered online.
It is divided into three parts:
Part 1 (3 days)
Part 2 (2 days)
Part 3 (2 days)
It runs from 9am-5pm.
You need to attend every part of the training to receive the attendance certificate which is necessary if you want to continue to accreditation with the EMDR UK Association.
This training covers everything you need to start using EMDR. It is a practical course which includes case supervision and real life EMDR practice on each other.

The 8-phase EMDR protocol.
The evidence base.
Understanding trauma and PTSD.
Formulation and the adaptive information processing model.
Preparation and self-soothing.
The Three-Prongs of EMDR.
Using EMDR beyond PTSD.
Working with complex trauma.
Working with children.
Working with neurodiversity.
Case supervision.
EMDR Practicum.
You need to have access to clients with whom you can use EMDR, as it is a requirement for the course that you practice in between the different parts.
The training uses videos and interactive exercises throughout to help you really make sense of EMDR.
The training is neurodiversity-informed and we understand that people learn differently. We will pace the training to avoid Zoom exhaustion and will vary the way that material is presented to make it easier to absorb. There will be a mixture of didactic teaching, group exercises and practice.
We will let you know in advance about the timing of lunchtime and breaks.
